Pronto Spanish Rice and Beef

Ingredients
1/2 each: onion and red or green pepper, chopped1 lb. lean ground beef1/2 cup water1 can (28 oz/796 mL) diced tomatoes1 Tbsp. chili powder1 tsp. each: salt, dried oregano and garlic powder1-1/2 cups instant white rice (Minute Rice)Optional: (not included in nutritional information)1 Chopped Japaleno Pepper3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Directions
BROWN onion, peppers and beef; drain. Add water, tomatoes and seasonings. Bring to a boil and boil about 2 min. Stir in rice. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand for 5 min.

Sprinkle cheese on top (optional).
