    270g Lentils
    2Tbsp Olive Oil
    3 Garlic Cloves, crushed
    1 Green Pepper, diced
    2 Onions, chopped
    2 Tsp Paprika
    1 Bay Leaf
    100g Smoked Ham
    250g Chorizo
    3Tbsp Tomato Paste
    1 Pinch Salt


In a large saucepan heat 1 Tbsp olive oil and cook garlic, green pepper and one onion, until onion is softened. Add the lentils paprika and bay leaf and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat to a simmer and cook until tender. Meanwhile heat 1Tbsp olive oil in frying pan, add the ham, chorizo and remaining onion and fry until golden on medium heat. Add to lentil mixture with the tomato paste and a large pinch of salt and cook for another 5 minutes
