French Onion Soup

3 Large Onions Sliced3 Clove Garlic Crushed500ml Beef Stock250ml Dry White Wine2 tsp Granulated Sugar1 tsp Olive Oil
Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan.
Finely slice the 3 large onoins and crush the garlic cloves.
Gently fry for around 5 minutes or until the onions become transparant.
Add the beef stock, dry white wine and bring to the boil.
Reduce the heat, add the granulated sugar and simmer for 50-55 minutes.
Place into soup bowls and serve with the warm crusty bread.
