Ingredients
2 eggs, lightly beaten2 c. finely chopped mushrooms1/2 c. dry bread crumbs1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese1/2 c. finely chopped onion1/4 c. all-purpose flour1/2 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. dried thyme1/4 tsp. pepper1 Tbsp. canola oil4 whole wheat buns, split
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the first 9 ingredients. Shape into four patties. In a large nonstick skillet, cook patties in oil over medium heat for 3 minutes per side, or until crisp and lightly browned. Serve on toasted wheat buns with assorted toppings. Serves: 4 (1 patty each)
