Lemon granita - Iona

Ingredients
750ml water250g granulated sugar300ml lemon juice
Directions
Put water and sugar on the fire and let the sugar melt. Leave to cool. Add lemon juice and stir. Put in freezer (usually overnight) until quite hard. Break up or mash with a fork and put again in the freezer. If you do this a couple a times you will end up with mushy granita which is easy to spoon into a cup anytime you want it.
