Southern Mustard Greens

Mustard Greens, 16 oz bag4 oz Natural Bacon (about 4 slices)1/2 tsp sugar1/2 tsp salt1/4 tsp black pepper1 Tbsp. reserved bacon fat2 cups water*1-2 tablespoons dried onion (optional)
Brown bacon in medium or large pot. Remove bacon, reserving 3 teaspoons of grease. Add remaining ingredients except greens. Bring water mixture to a boil. Add greens. Bring to a boil again. Cover pot and cook for 35 minutes over medium heat. Serve hot with crumbled bacon on top.
* For even healthier greens substitute 1/4 cup olive oil OR two cubes of beef bouillon for bacon.
