Breakfast Brownies

Ingredients
1 large egg2 medium bananas mashed3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce1/4 cup margarine or buttery spread of your choicejust shy 1/2 cup sugarjust shy 1/2 cup brown sugar1 cup wheat flour1 cup white flour1 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt1/2 to 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips to taste
Directions
Heat oven to 375, spray 9 X 13 glass dish with cooking spray. Stir all wet ingredients together until blended then add sugars and mix. In another bowl combine flour, baking soda and alt, then add to wet bowl, stir to combine. Mix in chocolate chips to taste. If batter seems too dry add 1 to 4 tablespoons of nonfat milk, too wet add 1 to 4 tablespoons of flour. Batter should be thicker than a cake batter, but not as thick as a cookie batter. Bake for 20-25 min until golden on sides. let cool at least 15 min on wire rack before slicing. Store in refrigerator. Serve cold or warm it up in microwave. Makes about 24 servings.
