green lentils,baby spinachcarrotsonionsolive oilsaltparsleybasilrosemarylemon juicebay leaf
warm olive oil, add onions, saute until translucent, add carrots (you can add celery too) 3-5 minutes, put rinsed lentils over these, add broth and herbs, bring to a boil, cover and simmer 45 minutes. Add spinach, salt and parsley, and lemon, 2 minutes more.
