Broiled Breaded Soy Curls

Ingredients
1 bag Butler Soy Curls1/4 cup flour (we use Garbanzo Bean Flour)2 T nutritional yeast1 t garlic powder1 t onion powder1 t oregano2 t Lawry's Seasoned SaltBlack pepper, to taste
Directions
Soak the soy curls in warm water for 10 minutes. Turn on oven broiler. In a large ziplock bag, combine everything except the soy curls and mix together. Drain the soy curls well. Add to the breading in the ziplock bag, seal, and shake until well coated. Spray a large cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray and pour soy curls onto it, trying to form a single layer. Spray top of soy curls. Broil for five minutes, toss, and broil for another five minutes or until outside of curls is slightly crunchy.

    I made this recipe, it was quite good. I forgot to spray the soy curls after putting them on the pan, so they burned a bit, I also stopped the broiler about 2 mins earlier than it said because they smelled done. - 6/8/13

    Hi powernoize! After I reconstitute my soy curls then squish them to get rid of the excess liquid they are still usually too wet to dump in a bag of flour or cornstarch without it turning into flour mush, any suggestions? - 1/18/11
