flax seed and apple muffin

Ingredients
add exterflax seed meal.1/4 cupflour, 3/4 cupwhole wheat flout, 3/4 cupsugar, 1/2 cupbaking soda, 1/2/tspbaking powder, 2 tspsalt, 1/2 tspegg, 1 largeapples, 1 cup findly chopped (1/4 in. cubes)canola oil, 3 tbspmilk skim, 1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp.
Directions
beat egg, add oil and milk mix. mix all dry ingredients together add liquid and mix adding extra 2 tbsp of milk if needed. fold in apples and put mixture in 12 baking cups or muffin pan spray no stick coating. bake at 400 for 18 - 20 minutes.
makes 12 serving
you could add 1/2 chopped nuts also. the silicone baking cups work great either on a flat pan or in muuffin tins and easy release.
i liked the muffins and i have never been a fan of a whole grain muffin.
this recipe is easy to make for a novice baker!!!!!!
