Ingredients
Directions
4 cups heavy cream (0) gm carbohydrate 2 tsp chopped garlic (it comes in a jar in the produce section) 4 tbsp butter
melt the butter in a skillet at medium heat. Add the 2 tsp. garlic, and simmer until garlic is golden and smells fantastic. Add the 4 cups heavy cream a small amount at a time and allow the sauce to thicken while stirring frequently. Do this until the 4 cups is in the skillet and continue to saute until the cream thickens to sauce consistency (approx 10-20 min). This makes approx 4 cups of sauce which you can add to pasta which is already cooked and drained. For homemade alfredo sauce, simply add parmesan cheese approx 1/2-1 cup to the above mixture. This will also thicken the sauce. For garlic chicken pasta, add cooked and chopped pieces of chicken to the pasta and then add the sauce on top. I make this meal about once a week, and it is a "surefire hit" with my family!
