Homemade vanilla coffe syrup

Ingredients
2 c. water2 c. Sugar1 whole vanilla bean
Directions
Mix sugar and water in a sauce pan. Heat and stir slowly until sugar is disolved. (Liquid will be clear.) cut vanilla bean in half, scrape out seeds and add to storage container along with pod. Add sugar syrup. Let sit for at least 2 days for flavors to develop.
