Oats Apple and Cinnamon Porridge (Lighter)

Ingredients
40 g gluten free rolled oats25 g dried apple pieces25 g dates250 ml water (+ more if necessary)100 ml apple juice1 tsp ground cinnamon1-2 tsp xylitol to tasteTo top:1 Tbs soya cream
Directions
Serves 1

In a saucepan, combine all ingredients except the last 3.

Bring to the boil, then let simmer, stirring continuously until all the liquid is absorbed and the oats are soft and cooked (3 - 7 minutes). Add more water if the porridge becomes too stodgy.

Taste and sweeten if necessary.

Drizzle with with a little soy cream and honey to serve.
