Great Northern Bean Soup

Ingredients
1 lb dry great northern beans1/2 lb ham meat plus bone16 cups water4 small stalks celery, chopped1 medium onion, chopped10 baby carrots, sliced2 cloves garlic, chopped1 tbs dried parsleysalt & pepper
Directions
Combine everything in a large pot.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer covered for at least 4 hours or until beans are tender.

Makes 12 about 1 cup servings. (approximate measure)
