Ingredients
Green Beans (snap), 16 beans (4" long) * Onions, raw, 0.33 cup, chopped * Sweet potato, in skin, without salt, 1 medium * Water, tap, 8 cup (8 fl oz) * Beef stock, home-prepared, 2 cup * Barley Pearl, .5 cup * Potato, with skin, 1 small (1-3/4" to 2-1/2" dia.) * Mushrooms, fresh, .5 cup, pieces or slices * Sweet Corn, Fresh, .5 cup * Baby Carrots, raw, 6 medium * Raw Yellow Squash, .5 cup * Garlic powder, .5 tsp * Beef, top sirloin, 3 oz * Beef Broth - Swanson Low Sodium, 2 cup * Zucchini, .5 cup, sliced Okra 3/4 cup
Directions
Boil water, broth and homemade stock with onions Add veggies, simmer for 20 min. Add barley simmer for another 30 min.
Makes aprox. 6-2 cup servings
