Homemade Almond Joy Ice Cream (coconut chocolate almond)

1 15oz can Cream of Coconut (*not* coconut milk)3 Tbsp Cocoa Powder1 cup 2% milk1.5 cup heavy whipping cream3 oz almonds
Makes ~ 2.5 pints, or 10 half-cup servings
Whisk cream of coconut, cocoa powder, and milk until well-blended. Chill in fridge.
Meanwhile, toast the almonds and let cool. Chop roughly.
Add chocolate-coconut mixture to heavy cream, stir to combine.
Add to ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer instructions, or about 30 minutes.
Stir in almond pieces and freeze until firm.
