Sundried Tomato and Basil Sauce

-400g tin chopped tomatoes-1/2 tbsp olive oil-2 cloves garlic-1.5 tsp sugar-1/2 tsp cayenne powder-1 tbsp tomato puree-Handful fresh basil leaves-Salt and black pepper
- Heat the olive oil in the pan and add the finely chopped garlic and cayenne
-Stir in the tomato puree and then add the tin of tomatoes
-When the mixture becomes hot, add the sugar
- Add 1/4 cup of water and bring to the boil.
-Turn the heat down, add the fresh basil leaves, salt and pepper to taste and leave to simmer for 10 mins.
