Smoked BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich

2 1/2 lbs boneless pork loin1/2 Tbsp pepper1/2 Tbsp garlic salt14 hamburger bunsSauce:1/4 cup bacon grease or butter1 med. onion chopped1 cup ketchup1 cup bbq sauce6 oz. beer or water1/4 cup brown sugar1 Tbsp. chili powder1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce1 Tbsp. dijon mustard1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
Preheat grill for indirect cooking over medium heat. Sprinkle pork loin with salt and garlic salt. Place on grill for 45 min. - 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches 155 degrees.
While pork in grilling; heat bacon grease in a large pot. Add onions and stir frequently until softened and slightly browned, about 10 min. Add remaining ingredients; simmer on low heat for 30 min.
Shred pork into small pieces, discarding any fat. Place pork in pot with prepared sauce; stir and simmer 40 minutes.
Serve on hamburger bun.
Makes 14 serving, 1 hamburger bun with 1/2 cup pork
