Directions
For the best results, use rice that has been cooled before fryingWhen I cook the rice, I use brown rice and a little less water than what is suggested for cooking. It makes it less mushy for frying. I do not add any salt or butter, only water. I've also used the low salt options for flavoring
1 cup uncooked brown rice (cook per directions)
1 tablespoon powdered ginger
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon low sodium terriyaki marinade
2 large eggs
1. Heat sesame oil in large pan or wok
2. Add ginger and garlic, saute for about a minute
3. Add cooled rice and fry until heated through
4. Push to side and scramble 2 eggs
5. Mix thoroughly into rice
6. Add terriyaki and soy sauce
7. Mix thoroughly and let cook for addition minute or two.
