whole wheat corn waffles

Ingredients
1 1/2c whole wheat flour1/2c cornmeal, preferabl stone-ground2 TB sugar4 ts baking powder3/4 ts salt2 eggs2 1/3c skim milk8 TB unsalted butter, melted
Directions
Combine the four, corneal, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl and toss to mix. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs lightly. Whisk in the milk and butter. Make a well in the dry ingredients, then pour in the liquids. Whisk briefly, just until blended. Let the batter sit for several minutes, then cook on a hot waffle iron.
