Homemade Granola

Ingredients
Steel Oats, 1.5 cupsBrown Sugar, 3 tsp packed Reduced Calorie Pancake Syrup, .1/8 cup Canola Oil, 1.5 TBSWater, tap, 1 TBSforti-flax, 2 TBS FlavorsPeanuts, dry-roasted, 1/3 cup Raisins, 1/3 cup (not packed) Cinnamon, ground, .5 tbsp
Directions
1-Preheat oven to 275.
2-Mix dry ingredients, minus the raisins.
3-Microwave wet ingredients for 30 seconds in microwave.
4-Add to dry mix and mix with hands
5-Spread out on well sprayed cooking sheet and bake for 30 minutes
6-Remove from oven, add fruit, mix, and place back for 15 minutes

Should yield about 250 grams of granola (with a little taste testing), each serving is 25 grams. The flavors can be changed easily as long as the base recipe is used. Also, honey can be used as a replacement for syrup. Add your flavor choices in the comments section.

    I love granola, especially bear naked. I have tried to make some in the past, and have made it well, but this stuff was easy and amazing. It cost me nothing, since I already had everything. A lot of the other sparkrecipies are double the calories for the same portion, so this stuff was perfect. - 7/24/10
