3 cups soft bread crumbs (4 slices bread)3 cups cut-up cooked chicken (48 oz)1 cup chicken broth1 cup 2% milk (I use Mayfield's)1 can (4-6 oz) mushroom stems/pieces, drained1/2 medium onionSalt & pepper (to taste) about 1 tsp each
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients; pour into ungreased baking dish 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches. Place baking dish in pan of hot water (1 inch deep). Bake uncovered about 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean. Cut into squares if desired.
