Sake-Marinated 5-Bean Salad

1.5 cups frozen shelled edamame1 cup peas2 cups haricots verts or green beans, cut into 1-inch piecesI cup onion sliced vertically15-oz. can dark red kidney beans rinsed and drained15 oz. can black beans rinsed and drianed1/3 cup rice vinegar3 tbsp sake1 tbsp olive oil2 tsp brown sugar1 tsp diced fresh ginger root1 tsp salt
Cook edamame according to package instructions without salt or oil.
Cook grean beans about 1 minute in boiling water, drain and plunge into ice water.
Mix edamame, peas, green beans and onion, kidney and black beans in a medium bowl.
Combine remaining ingredients in a seperate bowl and whisk.
Pour over beans and marinate in the refridgerator for 8 hours, stirring occasionally.
