Ingredients
2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 2 ounces soy sauce 1 tablespoon dried minced onion 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 3 tablespoons bourbon 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
Place chicken breasts in a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a small bowl combine the ginger, soy sauce, onion flakes, sugar, bourbon and garlic powder. Mix together and pour mixture over chicken. Cover dish and place in refrigerator. Marinate overnight.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Remove dish from refrigerator and remove cover. Bake in the preheated oven, basting frequently, for 1 1/2 hours or until chicken is well browned and juices run clear.

    Amazing! So glad I found this. I used bone-in chicken and marinated it, then baked it as directed. SO GOOD! Literally does taste almost identical to the bourbon chicken I get from the mall. Definitely recommend :) - 7/14/10

    This was as good, maybe better, than what our local Bourbon Street Chicken at the mall serves! I used chicken thighs, the meat was so tender, not at all dry. To speed up process, I stir fried it in pan, mixed everything together, and put in crockpot on very low for 1 hour - 8/31/07
