Blueberry sugar cakes

Ingredients
1/2 cup shortening1 cup sugar1/2 tsp salt3 eggs2 cups flour2 tsp baking powder1 cup milk3/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries2 packets or 1 tsp sugar crystals
Directions
Cream together shortening, sugar and salt. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift together baking powder and flour and add to wet mixture, gradually add milk and beat 60 strokes until dough is smooth and satiny. Carefully fold in blueberries, spoon into well greased muffin pan. Sprinkle sugar on top of muffins. Muffin cups will be full at 12 servings or 3/4 full at 15 servings. Nutrition info for this recipe is for 12 muffins.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
