Blueberry-Peach Muffins

2 cups white flour1.5 cups whole-wheat flour.5 cup brown sugar1 Tbs baking powder1.5 tsp baking soda.5 tsp salt1 tsp finely grated lemon zest2 and 1/3 cups buttermilk 1 Tbs vegetable oil1.5 tsp vanilla2 cups blueberries1 diced peach3 Tbs white flour3 Tbs brown sugar3 Tbs oatmeal1.5 Tbs margarine or butter
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Coat tins for 18 muffins with nonstick cooking spray, or line with paper muffin cups. Stir both flours, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and lemon zest together. Make a well in the center of dry ingredients. In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, oil and vanilla together. Pour buttermilk mixture into dry ingredients and stir just until blended. Fold in blueberries and diced peach. Spoon batter into the muffin tins. In a small bowl mix the oats, 3 Tbs flour, 3 Tbs sugar and margarine together. Sprinkle this topping over muffins. Bake the muffins for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 10 minutes. Makes 18 muffins.
