Stir fried red cabbage with apple

1 medium head red cabbage, shredded1 smal sweet onion, chopped1 medium apple, diced1 tablespoon olive oil3 ounces apple cider or juice1 tablespoon of caraw seeds, optionalcouple dashes of balsamic vinegar
Put the olive oil in a large wok & add shredded cabbage, caraway seed, chopped onion and apple. Stir over medium heat until cabbage begins to cook. Add apple cider (or juice) and sitr to coat. Cover & simmer until cabbage is done, about 15 minutes. Stir occasionally and add water if necessary. When done, spash balsamic vinegar to taste & stir.
