ORANGE TURKEY THIGHS

Ingredients
2 turkey thighs, skin removed1/2 tsp. onion powder1/4 tsp. ground white pepper1/2 c. orange juice1 tsp. soy sauce1 tsp. grated orange peel
Directions
Sprinkle both sides of turkey thighs with onion powder and white pepper. Place in baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over turkey. Cover with waxed paper and microwave on high for 5 minutes. Reduce power to 50% (medium) and microwave for 20 to 30 minutes longer or until meat is tender and is no longer pink. (Turkey can be basted during cooking with orange sauce.) Cut meat off bones and serve with sauce. Yield: 4 servings. Serving size: 1/4 recipe.

    This was good. I did add some garlic and powdered ginger. Also I used chicken thighs instead of turkey. Next time I would use fresh garlic instead of powdered and use fresh onion instead of onion powder. - 5/6/13
