Delightful Meat Pies

Ingredients
CRUST3 tbsp land o lakes fat free butter1/4 cup warm water2 1/2 tsp dry yeast1/4 cup granulated sugar3/4 tsp salt1/4 eagg whites1 cup potatoes, mashed3 1/4 flourFILLING1 1/2 pound lean ground beef1 cup shredded cabbage1 package onion soup mix3/4 cup sauerkraut, drained1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp pepper3/4 cup water
Directions
Place water, sugar, yeast and salt in a mixing bowl and let stand until bubbly. Add potatoes, egg whites and softened butter, mix well. Add 1/2 the flour, mix well, add rest of flour and knead 5 minutes. Roll out dough and cut into 4-5 inch squares. Brown meat and rinse it off in hot water to wash away extra fat. Place meat back into the pan and add other ingredients. Simmer incovered until miosture is absorbed (about 20 minutes). I divide the meat evenly over the squares of rolled dough. Fold and crimp edge. Brush with glaze of egg white. Bake at 375 for 15 - 20 minutes on a vegetable-sprayed cookie sheet. The fat would vary if you wanted to substitute other meats for the lean ground beef.
