Heather's Seven Layer Salad

3/4-1 head of lettuce1. c. chopped celery3 T. chopped onion1 head chopped cauliflower1 10 oz. package frozen raw peas12 oz. fried bacon with all excess grease pressed out with paper towels, cut with scissors into small pieces3/4- 1 pint Hellman's mayonnaise (or enough to cover the salad with a thick layer of mayonnaise)
Break lettuce into bite sized pieces and place 2" deep in a large salad bowl. Add celery, onion, cauliflower, peas, and bacon (with all excess grease pressed out with clean paper towels and then cut with scissors into small pieces). Ice the salad with mayonnaise like a cake. Refrigerate overnight. Toss and mix one hour before serving.
