Black Beans

Ingredients
2 cans of black beans (I used Goya 15.5oz cans)1/4 cup frozen "seasoning vegetables" (onion, peppers, sometimes celery in there) - mostly for color, can omitgarlic, salt and pepper (more or less to taste)2 T. vegetable or canola oil (this helps with the cooking - for full flavor use both tablespoons)
Directions
Put veggie oil in small saucepan (can reduce, but this amount works the best).
Rinse & drain beans, place in pan with vegetables.
Add seasoning:
1/2 t. garlic powder
dash of salt and pepper

Cook over low-medium heat until liquid is dissolved, and beans start to become sticky (about 20 min.)

Makes 7 1/2-cup servings
