Homemade Pesto

1/2 cup olive oil1/2 cup chopped walnuts2 cups firmly packed fresh basil leaves1/2 cup grated parmesan4 cloves of garlic, peeled and sliced1/2 teaspoon of saltcrushed black pepper to taste
Makes 1.5 cups or a total of 24 tablespoon servings.
In food processor bowl, combine oil, nuts, basil, cheese, garlic, and salt. Cover and process or blend until nearly smooth. Add pepper to taste and stir in with a spoon. Store in the fridge for 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.
