Slow Cooked Cabbage Soup

Ingredients
1 small - med. head cabbage sliced thinly1 med. onion, yellow, dicedmushrooms sliced 2 cups3 tsp bacon grease4 cups of chicken brothsalt & pepper opt.
Directions
In frying pan add bacon grease and saute onions to almost done, add mushrooms and saute until golden brown, put in slow cooker add the broth and cabbage, if you need to add just enough broth to cover the cabbage, mix all together and cook on low 4 to 6 hours.
