Caramel Icing for Pound Cake

Ingredients
1 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed5 T butter4 T milkdash salt1/2 t vanilla flavoring1/8 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions
Place first 4 ingredients in saucepan and bring to a rolling boil, stirring. Boil for 1 1/2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Beat with electric mixer for 2 to 4 minutes or until beggining to thicken. Pour over cake and let some drizzle down the sides. Sprinkle nuts over the top.
