Nette's Goulash "revised"

Ingredients
1lb ground turkey1/2-1lb pork sausage (optional) use to add flavor and spice2-3 cups whole wheat rotini pasta (spiral)1 15 oz canned unsalted tomatoes (diced)1 15 oz canned unsalted tomato sauce1 4 oz canned tomato sauce (if needed)1 tbsp sea salt1 tbsp pepper1-2 tbsp oregano2 tbsp garlic powder2 tbsp oinion powder1/2 medium onion diced3 garlic cloves diced2-3 cups water
Directions
Brown meat in skillet, add seasonins, onions and garlic cloves add tomato sauce and diced tomatoes as well as water. Let simmer covered on low for about 20 minutes, once you have let simmer add pasta and let cook for about 20 more minutes or until pasta is soft. May take a little longer because you are using whole wheat pasta. This is a great meal for pot lucks. Add ins: corn, okra or any vegies you prefer. You can also use the meatless ground in place of the ground meat.
