Ingredients
1 lb 93% lean hamburger1/4 cup italian bread crumbs1 egg, beaten1/4 cup onion, chopped2 cups beef broth1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce1/3 - 1/2 of an onion, sliced in rings1 4oz can sliced mushrooms2 tbsp corn starch2 tbsp water
Directions
Combine hamburger, bread crumbs, chopped onions, and egg. Form into 5 patties. Brown over medium high heat for 5 minutes each side. Add in broth, sliced onions and mushrooms. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook for 15 minutes. Remove patties from pan to serving dish, bring back to a boil. Mix corn starch with remaining 2 tbsp water until smooth, then stir into pan. Cook for 1 - 2 minutes until thickened, then pour over the patties and serve.
