Honey Garlic Chicken

Ingredients
6 chicken legs, skin removed 1/2 tsp garlic powder1 tsp salt1/8 tsp black pepper1 egg yolk6 tsp non-hydrogenated margarine 1 tbsp honey
Directions
Preheat oven to 325*F.
Rub chicken pieces with spice mixture.
Melt margarine.
Add egg yolk and honey.
Baste chicken pieces with mixture.
Place in glass baking dish and bake, uncovered, 45-60 minutes or until juices run clear, basting with mixture a couple times.

    I'm afraid I found this recipe had two problems: less flavor than I'd hoped for and too high a calorie wallop. I'd suggest modifying it toward those goals. Good first attempt though. The chicken was nice and moist. - 4/25/10

    I thought this was really good. I made it with chicken breast pieces instead of legs. I cooked it in a baking dish and it didn't brown or glaze though- maybe next time I should separate them a little more so they don't get so juicy and maybe they'll brown better. - 4/4/08
