White Wine Pasta Sauce

Ingredients
3/4c. White Wine1Tbs. Lemon Juice1Tbs. Ground Oregano1Tbs. Ground Basil3 Cloves Garlic Crushed1-3tsp. Crushed Red Pepper2Tbs. Extra Virgin Olive Oil8oz. Tomato Suace
Directions
Heat oil on Medium heat in a Medium sized pot. Add Garlic, Oregano, Basil, and Crushed Red Pepper (Crushed Red Pepper is to add spice) Saute for two minutes. Stir in Wine and Lemon Juice. Bring to a boil. Stir in Tomato Sauce and reduce heat. Let simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.

Pour over your favorite Pasta and add Fish or Chicken to finish it off!

    This is my favorite sauce; but it is a red sauce, not a white sauce (Tomatoes are Red, Violets are Blue, etc.) - 11/19/17

    this was wonderful but way too hot! i'm glad i didn't give any to my 5 year old, his mouth would have been on FIRE!!! next time i think i might omit the pepper flakes. - 1/23/08
