Split Green Moong Dal

Ingredients
2 cups split green moong dal2 tbsp ghee1/2 tsp cumin seeds1 tsp chili powder1 tsp dhaniya (coriander) powder1/4 tsp turmeric2 tbsp chopped gingersalt to taste
Directions
Pressure cook (or open pot) moong dal with ginger and 6 cups water. One whistle for the cooker is enough. When it is ready, heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds, let splutter, add dhaniya, turmeric & coriander powder and add to dal. Add salt to desired taste and serve hot with rotis/rice or as a soup.
