Easy Summer Squash Soup

Ingredients
5 cloves garlic, crushed1 large onion, diced16 oz. summer squash, diced4 stalks celery, diced4 carrots, diced8 cups waterBasil to taste
Directions
In large stock pan, saute garlic and onion until transparent
Add celery, carrots and squash. Saute 5 additional minutes.
Make a flour paste with 2 tbsp. flour and 1/2 cup warm water. Add 6 cups water to pan, bring to a boil. Add salt, pepper, and basil to taste.
Add four paste, then lower heat and simmer 10 minutes.
