Penne Pasta with Broccoli & Chicken

Ingredients
1 pound penne pasta, uncooked1 pound fresh broccoli florets1/4 c olive oil1/2 c chopped onion6 gloves garlic, finely minced1 1/2 c chicken broth1/4 c grated parmesan cheese1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into chunkssalt & pepper, to taste
Directions
Cook the penne according to package directions. Three minutes before pasta is done, add broccoli to pasta; drain and return to pot. Meanwhile, in a large skillet combine olive oil, chopped onions, minced garlic and chicken. Cook over medium heat until chicken is cooked through. Add chicken broth and parmesan cheese; simmer for 3-4 minutes. Combine chicken mixture with pasta and broccoli; toss well. Salt & pepper to taste. Makes 8 servings, approximately 8 ounces per serving.
