Ingredients
Directions
1 Cup - Milk (nonfat)1 Medium Banana (peeled)1 1/2 Tablespoon - Granulated Sugar1 Dash - Ground Cinnamon (Optional)4-5 Ice Cubes (Optional)
Makes 1 Serving
You place the milk, peeled banana, sugar and ice cubes in a blender. Blend very well until it looks frothy. Serve in a large glass and put a dash of ground cinnamon on top.
Very good quick mini-meal or dessert when your on the run :)
Note: You can always substitute the milk for any non-dairy product (ex. soy milk, rice milk, etc.) and use a sugar substitute instead of the granulated sugar (just remember to re-calculate the nutritional info with the new substitutions). Other fruit, such as apples and strawberries, can be added for a more fruity shake. :)
