Pasta with Shallots and Asparagus

Ingredients
* Barilla Plus High Portein Pasta, 14.5 oz - 1 box * Asparagus, fresh, 40 spear, small - use just the upper, tender part - cooked about 5 minutes and cut into 1" sections * Shallots, 6 tbsp chopped * Prosciutto, 3 oz diced (Italian ham) * Butter, salted, 4 tbsp (or less)
Directions
6 servings with 2 oz. of pasta each.
Chop shallots
Cook asparagus for 5 minutes or so (depending on diameter of spears). Remove from boiling water and chop into 1 " sections. Discard any tough parts.
Boil pasta.
As pasta cooks proceed with sauce as follows:
Saute shallots 2 minutes or less in butter
Add diced prosciutto and cooked asparagus and toss to coat. Cook just until heated through. Either toss with pasta or pass pasta and sauce separately.
