Salisbury Steak

Patties1 lb. 96% Lean Ground Beef1/2 C. dry unseasoned bread crumbs1/2 C. Skim Milk1 egg white1/4 C. finely chopped onion1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce1/4 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. pepperGravy2 C. fat free low sodium beef broth2 T. cornstarch1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves2 C. sliced fresh mushrooms
1. In medium bowl, combine all patty ingredients; mix gently. (Mixture will be moist.) Shape into 6 oval patties, about 3/4 inch thick.
2. Spray a large nonstick skillet with nonstick spray. Heat over medium heat until hot. Add patties; cook 3 minutes on each side or until browned. Remove patties from skillet. Add mushrooms to skillet; saute until tender.
3. In a small bowl, combine broth, cornstarch and thyme; blend well. Pour into the skillet with the mushrooms. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly. Return patties to skillet. Cover; simmer about 15 minutes or until patties are no longer pink in center.
Makes 6 servings; 1 patty and about 1/2 cup gravy.
