Great! Used nonfat yogurt instead of the egg white and substituted whole wheat flour. Sprinkled roasted sunflower seeds on top for a little crunch. - 3/19/10

Used Splenda instead of sugar, and found out you can only replace 1/3 to 1/2 of the flour with whole wheat flour, otherwise your bread dosen't rise :) It was good anyway! - 11/23/09

It was a good recipe, except the bread was not very flavorful. Tasted more like Soda-bread, than Banana Bread.

I would definitively reccomend adding 2 bananas and some more vanilla or cinnamon. - 9/24/11

This recipe was easy to make and tastes great. I put it in two small pans, one for me and one for my husband. I added a few nuts in his. I am making my second batch now and it smells great. - 5/16/10

This was a good recipe! I'm always looking for ways to cut down oil and sugar and this one was still good. I used 1c. WW pastry flour and 1/2 C white. Also added about 1/2 c golden raisins. It didn't rise too tall, but was still tasty. Will make it again! Makes 1 big loaf. - 12/4/10

LOVE THIS RECIPE! I like to use extra banana so I have to add more baking soda and baking powder. If you aren't worried about using the yolk, leave one yolk as well. I have used this basic recipe but then added all kinds of twists to make it "tropical" banana bread or other fun ideas. - 4/13/10

I made this today & liked it. Not as fluffy as regular recipes with butter & seemed a lot sweeter but still good. Pretty loaf & great aroma. Easy! - 3/7/19

Not sure what I did wrong, but it came out burnt black and smelled like pretzels the whole time it was cooking... :( - 5/12/14

Used whole wheat flour, partial honey, extra bananas. Saved mashing by using blender, added an apple. - 9/30/13

Great recipe I only use 1/2 C sugar or I use Splenda blend and only about 1/3 C I add more cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg also, this time I added oats and brown sugar on the top for a different effect. I love this recipe and have done it many times I cannot eat fat so it is perfect! - 8/6/13

I used natural yogurt instead of applesauce (because I have not found applesauce in Norway yet), 1/2 cup of sugar, and a little less than 1/4 cup of butter. 1/2 c. was oats, and the other 1c was flour. It's baking now. The consistency looks good and the batter tasted nice. Let's see how it goes! - 9/23/12
