Chai Spiced Oatmeal with Pear or Apple

Ingredients
1 cup of dried oats (I'll explain how to do quick oats, for steel cut just add the extras and follow the usual instructions)1 pearequal parts:five 0r seven spice powderpowdered gingercinnamonfew shakes of salt. cayenne, and freshly ground black pepperSplish of nonfat milk if desired to finish
Directions
Mix oats with desired amount of spices and seasonings, and 3 packets of artificial sweetner. Chop pear (or apple) and mix in. Add suggested amount of water (1 3/4 cups) and cook in microwave according to directions on package.

Splash of milk, divvy it up, breakfast of champions!
