Ingredients
2 lbs beef, sliced thin1 tsp kosher salt1 tbsp garlic powder1 tsp black pepper
Directions
allow beef to freeze slightly, it should be still soft but just starting to form ice crystals.

slice beef thin

sprinkle with spices and salt

place in dehydrator or oven set on lowest setting with door propped open. In the oven you can place the meat directly on the oven rack, smaller pieces go on a cookie sheet. Cover bottom rack with foil to catch drippings. Placing a small fan in the propped door will help the jerky dry faster.
