Baked Brown Rice

  • Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients
1.5 cups brown rice, medium or short grain2.5 cups water1 T unsalted butter*1 t. kosher salt*I have actually calculated this with 1 t. light butter
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Place rice into a 8" square glass baking dish.
Bring water, butter and salt just to a boil in covered saucepan. Once water boils, pour it over rice, stir to combine. Cover dish tightly with heavy-duty aluminum foil. Bake on the middle rack for 1 hour.
After 1 hour, remove cover and fluff with fork. Serve immediately.
