chiyoko's mostly veggie chili

Ingredients
1/2 lb ground beef1 large green pepper diced1 medium onion diced12 baby carrots chopped1 large can diced canned tomotoes1 large can dark red kidney beans8 oz can low sodium tomato sauce3 tsp chili powder, bay leaf, other spices as desired
Directions
saute vegetables and ground beef until tender
add liquid ingredients, spices, bay leaf
cook and simmer for 1 hour
