Velveeta Cheese Sauce

Ingredients
1 tbsp. light butter1 tbsp. whole wheat flour1 c. 1% milk1 lb (16-ounces) cubed (1/2 inch size) reduced fat Velveeta cheese1/8 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. sugarDash of pepperPaprika
Directions
Melt butter in small saucepan. Remove from heat. Whisk in flour until smooth. Gradually add milk. Return to low heat, whisking constantly, until beginning to boil. Add cubed cheese and continue to stir until cheese is melted. Remove from heat. Add salt, sugar, and pepper. Pour over cooked vegetables or potato just prior to serving. Sprinkle with paprika, if desired.
